2009 Tahoe LS

How come I can take calls thru the radio but can’t play songs from iPhone thru the radio? It’s the base radio that does not have a navigation screen...

Well phone calls are not iTunes. You tried to link your iPhone to the radio using iTunes? I'm an Android OG, so I just burn CD-RW's and play those, so I dont have
a good answer for you. Cant you play iTunes with the Aux cord system?
