Default 2009 Tahoe trans temp

Help. So I was towing a recreational vehicle this past week. I noticed my engine temp climbed to about 235 and my tranny temp was at 245. Tranny oil was recently changed for that same reason and all fluid levels were good. It was only climbing when going up hill. Any ideas? TIA.

Some more detail please.

How heavy is the RV?
How steep and how long of a climb?
Which engine ?
Gear ratio?

How fast were you going on the climb?
What gear was it in?
Was it struggling to keep the speed?
Does it have any towing packages?
What was the outside temperature?
I do not have any experience with that vehicle so I don't know it's capabilities. I am hoping someone else will chime in with more information. Details always help.

I was in D doing about 40 mph. It was 90 degrees outside and running high rpm’s. From 2500-3000 rpm. I believe it has a tow package.

Radiator full ? Coolant changed per the schedule ? Radiator or condenser not blocked by bugs and /or dirt ?
I've never seen my '11 5.3 go over 210 towing a 18' pontoon or my 6x12 cargo going over anything. Trans has never hit 190 either.
Push any coolant out of the tank ? If so could be a bad cap. Same applies if cap isn't letting system pull coolant back into rad. when cold.
Cooling temp high would be the main concern as trans. cooler is in the radiator.
Both fans running on high is another thing to check.
