PLEASE HELP
I got a few codes a while back P0449 p0175 p0121 and p0101

I have 24 inch wheels and the front was rubbing the inner fender well liner right above it was my K&N air filter it was sucking up the bits of plastic from the fender well liner so I removed the air filter and the intake tube as well as the mass air flow and cleaned all that I also wiped the throttle body down no cleaning spray was used it terribly dirty! That cleared 3 codes!! I had the P0449 left to resolve! I took the EVAP vent solenoid down and checked it giving it 12v to hear of the solenoid was opening and closing. It was I removed the hose and washed it out let dry completely and put it back the code cleared for about 30 miles it came back! Next I replaced the EVAP vent solenoid as well as the two hoses connected to it 1 is just a vent sitting beside the gas fill neck and the other goes to the canister it came as one unit. I also had buy a new connector because the new solenoid uses the updated connector. I install and properly mount everything back like it was originally and I still have the code!! What is my next step I’m past due for vehicle inspection and tag is going to expire soon!!! Also I baby my truck around and I just hit 200,000 miles at about 200,200 miles is when my engine lights started!

 

Just out of curiosity did you ever get this issue resolve? if so how/what did you do? I'm having the same issues on my 05 Tahoe have replaced the Evap Solenoid cannister, my check engine has come back on with the same code (which I don't know) that evap cannister needed to be replaced. then watched a youtube video that talked about a separate charcoal filter, is that the in the part of the purge system, which I gather is not part of the evap canister itself. Confused female here that can't find a single person in the small area of Oklahoma I live in that can fix this issue.
