Can someone direct me to a thread or give solid advice on the following.
We have a 2010 Suburban 1500, 156 k miles, once in a while PO 521 code appears and the engine is low on oil so we add a couple of quarts and all is good for a while,
Then another 5k to 10k miles it pops backup again, add few quarts and all is good. No blow by, no leaks wears it going??
It really intermittent.

Welcome to the forum. What is your oil change interval? I would expect you to need a quart every 1500-3000 mi with that mileage. How often do you check the dipstick??

 

We change it every 3k to 5k.
We are not checking it as often as we should, the check engine light usually prompt us.
