Default 2010 Suburban LTZ Wheels/Tires

I just got a '10 Sub and although it came with the standard 20" wheels I'm wanting to dress the look up a bit with some aftermarket wheels. My reason is twofold, I'm in MN and I'm not sure the stock tires are much more than a highway tire and I wouldn't mind putting some better looking wheels on it. Anyone have any suggestions on what looks great?

Secondly, is it difficult to find a 20" tire that still is a good mix between highway and snow? Perhaps I'm best off with a smaller wheel diameter . . .

Any thoughts, pictures, etc. would be helpful. For what it's worth I do like the simple/clean look of a 6 - 8 spoke chrome wheel, perhaps with a little offset (sticking them out a little bit.

Thanks again!!

Default snow

I have the stock tires on my 20"s (LTZ) and the truck works rather well in snow... they don't look super agressive, but they do manage to work well enough for me... when they wear out I will most likely get the same ones.

www.tirerack.com put in your year/make/model and it will give u TONS of info.

well, for winter you should use winter - snow tires and for summer - summer tires. I do not recommend "universal" tires.

tirerack is good web site with lot of info, tests, recommendations and it's good to read customer reviews as well.

Welcome to the forum.

I agree w/ both of the previous posts. OEM tires work great on my LTZ. If you want to go off road, I'd suggest smaller wheels like the Z71 comes with.
