2010 Suburban STRANGE Issue
Hi there,
My wife drives a 2010 Suburban. She was leaving Kroger today, and it stopped driving. The engine was running, but it wouldn't move when she hit the accelerator. I met her in the parking lot, and found that it wouldn't move in any gear or reverse.
She was very low on fuel, but it was still running. Starts and shuts off like normal, hust wouldn't go. While she was waiting for me to get there, she was Googling potential issues. She claimed it needed gas. I thought she was crazy, but I put 4 gallons in from a tank in my truck.
I started the suburban, and wouldn't you know, that damn thing works now.
Any idea why?
Update, it doesn't move after driving for a few minutes. Drives cold for a few minutes.

Welcome to the forum. I suspect that since it only runs when it's cold that adding the gas had nothing to do with it. It was just the fact that it had time to cool off. I can't help on the problem but it's a good idea not to run the tank below about a quarter full because the fuel pump relies on the gas to cool it.
