Started it up last night to leave the restaurant, went to shift into reverse and could not get the truck into gear. The gear shift just moves up and down the column, but does not engage the transmission.

What's up with that?

 

If you're lucky, maybe it's just a problem in the linkage to the transmission. I don't know if 2010 transmission uses vacuum or electronics.
