Exclamation 2011 Chevrolet Suburban Engine Light On, then Off - Hard Hesitation, Locks reset....

Hi - looking for any help on what is going on w/my 2011 Chev. Sub.
First sign something was wrong, I was accelerating to get onto the interstate and it felt like someone hit the brakes (or I was rear ended), but neither of those happened - it was a "hard hesitation?", the engine light came on and went right back off, and then the vehicle ran as usual. This happened a few other times at random times/speeds. Took it in to one shop, they suggested a tuneup as a starting point, so we did that - no change.
The first thing I did (before the tune up) was take the vehicle to Auto Zone to see if there were any codes set - NONE.
The next time it happened, I hightailed it to Auto Zone again - no codes. They recommended going to O'Reilly in case their machine could pick something up - no codes.
Continued driving vehicle after having the tune up. Same issue happened a few more times at random intervals, then one day I was sitting at a light w/the vehicle idling and it just died. Started right back up.
A few days later was in the drive through of a fast food place idling and it died. The "hard hesitation" issue still happening, but now as those things happened (hesitation, engine light on and right back off, the locks reset too). Fun.
Took it in to a different shop. They ran diagnostics, only thing they could find was when the vehicle was under a heavy load, the negative battery cable was running hot...I believe that was what they said. Let them replace that. They drove it after and said it was running fine. Picked up the vehicle and it happened again on my drive home.
A few days later took it back, rented a car, told them to keep it all week and drive it - wanted them to experience the issue (even had captured the engine light on/off business on video and showed them). New trick the vehicle had learned before this visit - was "shuddering/hesitation" as I accelerated sometimes.
They kept it, drove it, had it die on them in a drive through. Rechecked their work, found a fuse that looked a bit burnt and replaced that. Kept it connected to their diagnostic machines running at the shop for multiple hours w/o anything happening. Returned my rental today and picked up the Suburban. Drove to get breakfast, sitting in parking lot idling and it died. Later this evening drove children to an event and the hard hesitation/jerking, engine light on/off, etc. happened again - still shuddering w/acceleration sometimes. Help! No codes. They have no clue at the shop. Can't keep pouring money into this problem the mechanics can't seem to figure out. The shop this time said to take it to the dealer if it keeps happening - basically, they give up. Help!

Also, forgot to mention - this past weekend when driving it - stopped at a store, then was ready to leave and waiting to pull out - while sitting there idling it felt like it was going to die, but it didn't - instead the gas gauge dropped to empty, warning light about gas came on, so I turned back in to get gas (even though I was certain we had some, but didn't want to take a chance...it was around 1/4 tank at least) - stopped at gas station, turned vehicle off. Turned it immediately back on and gas gauge went back to where I thought it was before this all happened. Was already stopped and since I'd need gas soon, went ahead and filled it up, then continued on. That has only happened the one time.
