2011 Chevy heated steering wheel

Did a connector search and found this website:

Can't remember exactly which one it was,, but do remember it as being green in color, and was a 2 pin for sure!
Also, on 07, 08, and 09 1500 series, the airbag is 2 stage ( 2 airbag connectors on clock spring). As far as I know, 2500s had a single stage airbag, which I don't think is compatible with the clock spring required for this mod.
No experience with 2014s yet, sorry.

However, It will need to mate with the one on the SIR coil.
Believe I waited till I had the SIR coil in hand before ordering the connector to make sure I got the right one the first time.

Heated Hummer steering wheel 09
The button is located on the steering wheel next to the cruise control. The controls look exactly like the gmc denali's heated steering wheel but has the full leather warp (nice!).
I just ordered the steering wheel with the heated option from my dealer the part number is (ebony leather): 20998064 ($315), you will need a new SIR coil 25966964 (~$80-$120) and the pig tail connector 60296271 pigtail from ssconnectors.com. When I get the parts i will share pictures of the install, but from what fredrich03 shared in the post above it should be pretty straight forward.

This is the exact part that I just ordered for my '08 Silverado. It just arrived but I don't have the clockspring yet.
As far as I could tell, it should work perfectly, but I'll report back as soon as I have it installed.
If anything, I suspect that the manual gear shift buttons (that were unique to the H2) may cause unexpected response from the BCM if pressed, but will likely do nothing.
Also, I couldn't find anyone who still offers the pigtail, but I dug through my electrical manual and found the part number for the connector to build my own.
It's Delphi part #12059254, available through Mouser.
According to the electrical manual, the power lead should be pink and ground should be black.
They are both specified as .8 mm² (18 AWG) TWP-7 (Thin Walled PVC with 7 conductor strands), though I was only able to find 18 AWG TWP-19 wire but it shouldn't make much difference.
They should both connect to the 22 pin steering column connector (pins are labeled A1-A11 and B1-B11) with the power lead connected to pin B8 and ground to B6.
I do not know if B8 is actually wired on the other side of the connector but if not, it should be spliced to "AUX HVAC-IGN" on the under-hood fuse box. This is fuse #48 for gas engines, and fuse #45 for diesel engines.
One last side note. According to the electrical manual, the heated steering wheel controls are fully isolated from the other steering wheel controls and the BCM.So in response to previous inquiries in this thread about automatically engaging the heated steering wheel when remote starting (similar to how the heated seats work), this is not possible without some re-engineering.
