Default 2011 Suburban/Yukon/Escalade 3rd row seats

I have the 3rd row seats out of a 2011 Yukon XL Denali that Mrs. Cusser brought to its early demise last fall. I cannot figure out how to "open" the seat backs to take a good photo so I can list for sale. The owner's manual states that the seats must be installed/latched into the vehicle before the backs can be unfolded, and I've pulled on the levers to no avail. Does anyone have a trick for this?? Thanks.

Sounds like you need too enguage the floor latches onto something that mimics the original floor hardware - just a guess!

Yeah, was thinkin' similar, maybe PVC pipe, need to take a better look at that.

Yesterday I did place a Craigslist ad for them at $200, stated that seats cannot be opened until installed. One potential customer has responded, but he's coming to Phoenix tomorrow and I cannot get the seats here until Monday afternoon from 100 miles north of Phoenix, so likely sale will fall through.

PVC might collapse in the clamp; might consider a wood dowel or scrap of pipe
