I'm the second owner. The vendor says I own a 1LT with these options (in addition to 4 bucket seats, 3rd row, leather,chrome wheels etc). I have the LTZ badges. I've seen many other Tahoes that have the LTZ badge but they do not have the chrome grille, mirrors, handles, or side moldings. I highly doubt so many ppl in my town decided to randomly add a Z to LT. Why in the heck do so many have LTZ if the vendor says it's 1LT. I'm very confused.

Because like our 2007 that flashy need attention chrome was not standard/optional. I really don't like the look of it. Its too desperate, "Look at me! Look what I have and you don't!" I hate that. The only chrome on ours is the the edge of the front grille and the inside door handles...

It used to be only LTZ's could get the 20" Aluminum Rims, but now LT's have them as well. The LTZ is still the ONLY level to get the Auto Ride suspension. There are plenty of burbs and tahoes that are LTZ before the "I need attention" chrome was standard.

The out side door handles, mirror caps, bumper, grille, roof rack, side molding, etc, is all Black on ours... And our burb has every option except for the 3rd row dvd screen and the 6.0L engine. Other than that, every option available. We even have ALL 3 rows of Chevy carpet mats under neath ALL 3 rows of Chevy rubber mats... I guess our friends (PO) really wanted everything...

Really, all the "Z" means now is electronics shocks and air bag rear suspension. Look underneath, do you have an air-compressor and rear shocks with air bags? If yes, you have LTZ. If no, then you have an LT....
