Default 2011 Tahoe Factory Nav

Will a factory nav unit from a 2007-2010 Tahoe work completely in a 2011 model? I know that the 2010 model (I think) added the USB port in the center console so will that make a difference in a unit from an older model year?

I purchased an aftermarket nav unit but don't like how certain features in the Tahoe don't work with it.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah it should work just fine (well mostly). Obviously, as you stated, if you don't get one with the USB option (pre 2010) then you simply won't have that available. Everything else should work. Just make sure that if you have a backup camera or overhead DVD system that you get an appropriate unit with those options (radio must show DVD symbol on I think the front, bottom left).

Either way though, you will have to get it programmed to match your vehicle, and the options you have. Usually, dealerships will do this for a small fee.
