2011 wheels fit 2007 Tahoe?
I have a 2007 Chevy Tahoe LTZ and want to purchase a set of wheels off of a 2011 Tahoe. They are the polished aluminum 5 spoke wheels. The wheels on the 2011 look identical to the ones I currently have, just new. Mine are beat up.
My question is whether the 2011 wheels will fit the 2007.
Hard to believe they won't, but I was on a site and entered the wheel part number and it came back as not compatible.
Anyone know for sure if these will or will not fit?
Thanks!

Absolutely! There is no question about it. They will fit!
The only problem I see presenting itself would be the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system). If I am correct, the newer Tahoe's have a newer model sensor that is incompatible with the 2007? I am sure someone can clarify this as I am not entirely certain about that myself, but that is something I have heard before. Worst case, you just replace the sensors will older model ones.
That's the only problem you may run into. Other then that, you should be fine.

Thanks. If anyone can confirm this one way or another, I would appreciate it.
btw..
Is it worth taking my existing TPMS from my wheels and installing them in the new 2011 wheels? Or should I buy new ones.
I mean, how long are these things good for? I assume they have batteries in them? How long do they last? These are just four years old now.
Thanks again!

It's possible that the "incompatibility" which was given, was
because of a different size. The diameter of the Tire is
usually the reason for this.
Ha, they'll still work though !
