Default 2012 1500 Suburban has a loud fan like AC is running but its not

When the Truck is running, we get the sound from the Engine Compartment that sounds like the AC has been running for hours. The thing is we havent had the AC for a long as in months for this to be happening and is constantly on.

I believe ac compressor & fan will run as part of defrost cycle; have you popped the hood to see what's running? May be a sign your ac needs a charge?

Thanks for the reply. I have opened up the hood and Engine Fan is constantly running as it should but I cant tell if anything else is running that should not. Just odd no Warning Lights inside but its definitely noticeable. The past 2 weeks we have multiple people ask us why the engine is running so hard/loudly.

Engine Fan is constantly running as it should?

Believe fans should be on low with A/C or defrost on and on high when ECT is above maybe 200+.
If fans on constantly ECT sensor may be at fault.

Thanks! I see the part is cheap but I cant find any videos on the replacement process. Have any idea or pointers on the videos?

Go slow on the replacement.
Should do some more diagnosis first.
Need to verify when and if the fans are running at high speed.
Does check engine light stay on/ error codes?
Is engine temp normal as read on the instrument cluster/scan tool ?
