I have a 2012 Suburban ltz. The reaf liftgate will open automatically and when it gets the the top of the opening there is a pop on the left side of the door on the rod next to what I believe is the strut. The door will not close automatically now but can be manually closed. After closed it can now be automatically opened again and the process repeats.
