Default 2012 Tahoe

I have a 2009 Suburban ( great ) My brother-in law is looking at a 2012 Tahoe AWD 6.2 . So his questions , is the 6.2 a good engine , wants to pick up a 25 ft boat 6,000 lbs bring it up from Florida to Chicago . Hows the towing capacity of this truck & power to pull this thing . Appreciate your comments.

That truck is rated to pull 8100 lbs. It should pull the boat just fine. I've pulled heavier trailers from Michigan to Florida with a lot less motor.

I assumed he was talking about a Yukon Denali - which does have the 6.2.
