2012 Tahoe PPV 4x4
I haven't posted in a while (mostly lurked around) but have been a member for a fairly long time now. I finally have something to post about hahaha
Last week (thursday) two of our four Tahoes arrived. We installed the last small stuff (camera, radar, etc) and had everything ready to rock friday mid-day. I am 6ft 5in tall and it's nice to have plenty of leg-room in a patrol vehicle with a full cage.
We decided to replace our 3 4x4 expeditions and 1 crown vic with 4 tahoes (3 4x4 and 1 4x2). We decided to go through Defender Supply out of Denton, TX. We had some issues with DS but overall the Tahoes are awesome. This is coming from a Ford man at heart who has never owned a personal vehicle that has been a Chevrolet (this is my 2nd chev work truck though).
We are REALLY excited about them. These are the FIRST police package vehicles the county has EVER purchased....we are pretty stoked.

They look clear until the lights are activated then they start flashing red/blue.

Well as crazy as it sounds...I have had this Tahoe for just under 3 years!! (3 year lease)
Our new rigs will be here tomorrow. My Tahoe (and one other tahoe) will go back to wherever the leasing company takes them (Valhalla?).
