Thumbs up 2013 Suburban roof rack conversion to Escalade

Newbie on this forum and would appreciate anyone's help.

I am looking to convert the roof rack on my 2013 Suburban to the Escalade/Denali chrome roof rack and need assistance sourcing the parts.

I did search the forum and found posts back in 2009, but were of little help. I recently purchased one on ebay, but the parts included from a used Escalade did not bolt up correctly.

Can someone please assist with parts numbers and a source to order this conversion kit?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to forum.

You can reuse the hardware from your stock luggage rack. If they didn't send you the gaskets, you will need new ones. You can find the part numbers on GMpartsdirect.com. They show an exploded view there that makes it easy to figure out which parts you still need.

Thank you 73shark!

Clearly looking at that exploded parts list, they sent me the wrong parts.

73shark,

Thanks for your past help. I looked a the exploded parts list a GMpartsdirect and called a Chevy dealer who cross referenced my VIN # from my 2013 Suburban LTZ and was told the bolt holes do not line up with the roof rack from the Escalade ESV / Denali XL. This seem to be what I found after removing my roof rack and trying the one out that I bought (and since returned) off Ebay.

Trying one last time before I give up on this mod. I've seen 2008's Suburban's with this mod, but wonder if something changed by MY 2013. Also in examining the side rails of the Escalade rack, how the heck would you tighten the middle bolt on the rack?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can assist!

It's been a few years since I did mine so I would have to check and see. I'm not even sure that mine had a middle bolt for the Esky rack.

Just checked and the Esky rack doesn't use the center bolt.
