I have a 2014 Suburban and I have some brand new 16 inch winter tires left from my old 04 2500 GMC truck. I am wondering if 16 inch rims will fit the 2014 suburban.

Do the tires have any dry rot issues?

 

Hey Adam442, Welcome to the Chevy Forums.

Try a salvage yard.

They have interchange manuals.

There are a couple of issues here, whether the rims

will clear the fenders and body, if the interior of the

rims will clear the brake calipers, if the bolt pattern is right,

and the center hole size matches.

Don't forget that most tire mfgs recommend not using tires past 6-7 years old from date of manufacture.

 

I just bought them in March before my last sled trip to the mountains, the tires are new. They haven't been sitting around since 2004, sorry for the confusion. Suburbans used to have 16's, the only question will be the brake rotors if the upgraded them from the 2006 to 2007+ models.
