2015 Suburban Headlight and Half LED strip is out. HELP!!
Hey everyone,
I would appreciate any help and troubleshooting tips. I have a 2015 Chevy Suburban LT and I noticed today that my Right bulb is out and the LED strip in the headlamp is only Half lit ( meaning the outer half of the strip is out and inner half still lights up). I am past the 36k warranty so I am trying to trouble shoot and fix myself. I have checked the fuse box and according the manual, Fuse 121 and 122 are for the HID headlamps and when I remove both of the fuses, the left lights are still working so I'm guessing I'm checking the wrong fuse. Also since, this vehicle has regular Halogen lights. I did put in aftermarket HID kits with ballasts, which seem to have been working fine. I am confused regarding the LED strip being half out on the car.
So my questions are:
1. Am I checking the wrong fuses?
2. Could the wiring harness be loose since it sits in front of the air intake on the right side?
3. Any tips?
Thanks again. I will appreciate any help.

Welcome to the forum...
I suspect the LED strip is bad.
Try walking the two front headlights with each other, if the suspect one works on the other side, its a wiring/fuse/connection issue.. if the lamp fails in the same manner on the other side it's a lamp issue...

Thank you. I replaced the bulb and now it is working fine.
But the LED strip is still half out.
Is there anyway to replace those led bulbs?
Is there a separate fuse for it?
Do I need to replace the entire headlamp to fix the LED strip?
