2015 Suburban Shocks Leaking
Just took my 2015 Suburban with just under 60,000 miles in for service. While it was on the rack I asked them to check everything since something was now leaking on my garage floor. Turns out both front shocks are blown out and leaking. He told me both need to be replaced at a cost of $1,800 and this was not covered under my purchased extended warranty - considered normal wear and tear. Which begs the question ... is this normal? I mean I'm 49 years old - previously owned a 2003 Suburban and a 2009 Tahoe which never had this issue with more miles logged ... Not to mention I have NEVER had to replace shocks in ANY vehicle I have owned thus far. Just curious if others are seeing this same issue with shocks on the 2015 Suburban / Tahoe and if $1,800 is the correct price to replace shocks? This all seems a bit odd to me.
