Default 2015 Tahoe whine when accelerating

5.3 motor with 135000. High pitch whine/humming noise when accelerating. Goes away after releasing the gas pedal no matter the speed. Oil and tranny fluid look good. Tranny shifts great. Thought maybe it was a power steering pump whine but I don’t see one and doesn’t whine when I turn the wheel. Any one else have this problem?

Is it coming from the radio by any chance?

No. We took it on the sand dunes over the weekend and ever since then the noise was happening. We didn’t do anything crazy, just cruises around. I have noticed a buzzing noise from radio when I had my iPhone usb plugged in but that’s not the noise. I’ll try to get a video posted.

I noticed the same thing, I also noticed my 4wd was in auto on the selector. I took it off and the whining stopped. I do have concerns about my 4wd now though.

Has the T case fluid ever been serviced ? I'd try that first and hope for the best. Trans and T case fluid are a every 50k mile change item on the severe use schedule and the most overlooked fluids resulting in expensive repairs.
