The wife And I went and checked out the 2015 Tahoe LTZ...its is really sweet...22 inch wheels, auto retacting running boards, push to start ignition... Lots of 12v,USB outlets and 110v :-) really liked the dark brown leather interior and the diamond white exterior...

Going to the KC Auto Show next week. Will check it out along w/ the new Corvette.
I do agree w/ other comments I've seen re: the tab on the side of the headlites. Resembles a Ford design.

We also checked out the Sting Ray they had in the showroom... very nice and very sleek...though I have to admit if I had that to spend in addition to the 65K for the Tahoe LTZ, I would probably consider the Tesla S model...

By the looks and price of the new Burbs, looks like my next full size SUV will be a Low mileage 2013 Suburban 2500 or a new Toyota Seqouia. Sorry GM should have left it alone, Not liking them

After seeing it in person, I din't think it was so bad...I was a bit disappointed in the considerably higher sticker prices...knowing the history the GMT-900 has had with some issues... at $65,000+ the dash cracking, handles breaking, steering wheel peeling, AC button wearing off, and top engine thrashing due to AFM failures is hopefully resolved...

They put AFM in the Corvette now, so I hope they got it fixed.
Don't forget about the rear defogger tabs coming off. Not to mention all of the control, alt, delete reboots (battery disconnects) to clear false error messages.

Adaptive Cruise
$2k option for Adaptive Cruise?! (build my own)
Subaru has that included on like a $35,000 car...
it shouldn't even be an 'option' on the LTZ.
LTZ just means 'GIVE ME EVERYTHING'.
I have more money than time. just load it up and bill me.
that's LTZ.
that's what Lexus does with many of theirs... no options crap. just loaded.
I don't have time to pick out 20 details of things that obviously make it better... so just put them on there.
let the LS/LT nit pick options.

Checked out a 2015 LTZ last week at the car show. They should have gone w/ an IRS to get the fold flat seats. Instead they made both rows a lot thinner (read harder) and raised the load floor about four inches. Not good IMO.
Button size is the same as the current model. Dash layout is good and front seats felt more comfortable but that's like trying out a mattress in the store. Feels fine 'til you try to sleep on it.
Bottom line is I'm not moved to upgrade, especially the first year. Been there, done that.

Wow, lost 4 inches of space. That's a big part of why 2 different relatives who each have expeditions hate them compared to our burb... We can easily fit bigger things in our burb with no problem and we can take out the seats if we dont need them...
Also, boy has the price gone up! a Custom order 2007 LTZ 4X4 (in Texas lol) with everything BUT 6.0L and power folding steps, $56,000! 2014, $66,000!! New 2015 burb, over $75,000!!! Hell an opted out Cadillac with 6.2L and EVERYTHING is $86,000! The Cadillacs truly are nicer, quieter, and so much more comfy than the burbs. Family in NYC has a 2007 platinum, pretty nice compared to ours...
I think gm is very stupid about where they are heading... Oh well, doesn't matter to me, never buying a gm again
