Default 2016 Tahoe Remote Starter

It seems that on my 2016 Tahoe the remote start only runs for about 10 minutes. Is there any way to make this longer? I don't see anything in any of the manuals I have that discusses it, and I've looked through the menus without finding anything...

From what I found it says it can be extended, but doesn't mention how to extend the time. Maybe repeat the procedure of remote starting during the time the car is already remote started, and just time the whole thing, and see if after repeating the 2nd remote start sequence, if the entire run time from begin to end is more than 10 mins.

Found it! lol! I was right! *pats my own back* lol! See the blue highlight area in the attachment.

So if you want to just set it and forget it for about 20 mins. as soon as possible. Then just push the lock button, then press and hold the "start" button, then within 30 seconds of doing that, lock the car one more time, and push and hold the "start" button again, and it should run for about 20 mins. Good luck!

I dont think so....the procedure says an extension can be requested 30 secs after the vehicle has started. But I guess one can always try to prove it otherwise.
