I recently replaced my 2013 Suburban with the new 2021 model. On the 2013, you could drive in "M5" (manual, 5th gear) which would disable AFM (Automatic Fuel Management) while driving <50 mph. The 2021 has a 10 gear transmission and I'd like to know if DFM (Dynamic Fuel Management) can be disabled if you drive it under manual mode (they marked it "L" for LOW - makes no sense). "L8" appears to be the equivalent to "M5" on my the 2013 Suburban; however, the 2021 does NOT have a DFM status on the display so I have no idea if that works.
I'd like to keep DFM OFF until Range Technology offers the AFM/DFM delete box for the 2021 Suburban. Driving in "manual" mode was a temporary solution for the 2013.
Thanks.
