Default Buying Tips for used 2013 Suburban

Thinking about getting a 2013 Suburban LTZ with 5.3 motor and 32,000 miles. Any advice on known problems or issues or a general "what to look for" before buying is appreciated. Thanks.

So, I did some further research on another forum and came across a HUGE thread detailing the problems with the 5.3L AFM causing all kinds of problems with oil consumption leading to many varied attempts to fix and in some cases necessitating engine replacement. Does anyone know if this issue has been resolved with model year 2013 or is this still a problem with this engine? Thanks.

The AFM issue "appears" to have gotten better with 2010 and newer trucks. Being a skeptic, my opinion is that the fleet of 2010+ trucks just hasn't racked up enough mileage for the issue to be on full display

If you were looking a little older, I'd suggest looking at an 07-09 Yukon XL Denali or Escalade ESV, with the 6.2. Starting in 2010, the 6.2 got AFM as well.
