Default 2021 Suburban RST 275/50R22 to 285/45R22?

Hi Guys,

i bought my first ever suburban 2021 RST. The car came with 265/50R22 but i was told I can use a 285/45R22 tires on the car. I want to get an all terrain tire but want to make sure it'll fit on the car with no rubbing

Has anyone done that or have any experience?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. The new tire will be shorter but wider. The only way to tell for sure is to mount one on your wheel and see. Or maybe someone else here has made this change.
