Default 22 inch wheels - do I need special shocks?

My wonderful fiancé got me an 05 z71 tahoe with 122k miles on it for Christmas. I got it balanced and aligned and want to do the shocks. Do I need some special longer shocks to account for the 22 inch wheels? Thanks in advance -

were you wanting to lift the Tahoe? if so, if you wanted to save some money you could do spacers for the shocks which basically keeps the stock travel by bringing the mounting point of the shocks up higher. but I you wanted to go aftermarket I would say yes get longer shocks if you are going to lift the Tahoe.

I wasn't planning on lifting the Tahoe, i think the shocks are stock but im not positive. I had an 01 suburban but I sold it recently so can't use that as a reference. I'll probably take it to a shop and see what they say. Thank you for the response.

sorry for such a late reply but stock z71 shocks (at least in my stock 04 suburban z71) are red. and honestly, if they are still good don't replace them.
