Default 2500 suburban 2500 front differential compatibility

Alright bear with me please because the more I research the more I get confused, and I can't find the answer to my question.

I need a new front diff for a 2011 suburban 2500. What I CANT find a direct answer for is will a diff from a 2500 pickup with the same gear ratio (gt4) drop into the front end of a suburban 2500?

I found a thread that says there's different ring sizes ( most commonly 8.25 and 9.25. best I can tell is the 9.25 is in 4.10 diffs) and I just want to make sure I can swap in a diff from a pickup. I know year is important for electrical components, but is the mounting bolt pattern or stub length any different between the suburbans and pickups? Are the diffs interchangeable or not?

Thanks I'm advance for any help
