I'm considering purchasing the GM 2nd row accessory floor console kit for a 2008 Suburban. The console can be viewed here: http://www.gmaccessorieszone.com/acc...1%5Btype%5D=gm

Before I place my order and since the same item is available for the Tahoe, I'd like to know if anyone in this forum is aware of how to install the console. The description says that the console can be removed. I'm curious if holes need to be drilled into the floor of the vehicle to attach the console, or if it utilizes pre-existing holes/mounts that are underneath the carpet. It would be a great help if someone could scan and post the installation instructions for the kit. Thanks in advance!!

I wouldn't be surprised if they just use self-drilling/self-tapping screws to mount it to the floor.

 

You may be right, but it's the "removeable" part of the description that has me thinking otherwise. Given the lack of responses to my question, it appears that it might no be too popular of an item!

 

It might also have a base that mounts to the floor and then the console snaps onto it.
