Hello .. my 2007 suburban is stuck in 4W Low. When I turn the dial, the light blinks for the setting I am trying to change to (would like 2W or Auto), but the light stays on for 4W low and it does not switch out. Can you tell me how to get it out of 4W Low? Also, what does the blinking light mean?

 

I had a similar issue. My transfer case was stuck in 2WD, and would not switch to 4HI or 4LO. I would also get the blinking light as well. My TCM (transmission control module) was the culprit. I am not sure if your vehicle, can be shifted back into a normal driving mode, until you have it looked at by a knowledgeable person/dealership. Good luck!
