Default 5.3l swap?
How much problems will it be to swap out a 5.7l with a late model 5.3l? I can get a 5.3l with 30,xxx miles for less than a grand. Let meknow what you guys think, too much trouble, or worth the headaches.

not really worth it. you'd have to swap harnesses, ecm's. that alone is a huge job. alot less of a headache to grab another 5.7.

I was afraid of that. I hoped I was wrong. The 5.7 in my 'burb is knocking, and leakin oil between the heads and block. Has 201xxx miles and needs some help.
