5.3l version compatibility

I have a 2007 suburban with a 5.3l VIN 3 LC9 (I think)engine. AFM,Flex fuel,aluminum block. I have 190k and I’ve got a collapsed lift as well as a large amount of coolant getting into oil so I’m think I’m gonna swap out the engine. I was thinking, instead of putting another LC9 in. I could put a non AFM engine in? Any recommendations?
