Question 8 lug swap

I have a chance to get all the spindles & brakes from front & rear of a '04 2500 2wd van for a great price. Will the front spindles and brakes fit my '98 1500 2wd 'burb? I know the rear end should fit without much trouble, but I'm not sure about the front.

Well, because my truck has 225xxx + on it, I can prolly get the 8 lug running gear for less than $500. So, if the swap is not bad, it may be worth it.

so your wanting to do the swap to hopefully save money because you're getting used parts for cheap? My opinion would be don't do it, anytime you get into swaps and custom work theres always unknowns that can and probably will go wrong and unless you're prepared to handle it on your own sometimes you're SOL. Service manuals don't help much when it comes to swaps/conversions. Just my 2 cents
