Default '88 Suburban build questions

Basically I'm about to do a few upgrades to my Suburban. I'm planning on doing a cam and converter, intake, heads, and carb. I'm not a mechanic, I'm just buying these parts for someone else to do the work. Anyone who is mechanically inclined and willing to help verify I'm getting stuff that's compatible with one another, would be greatly appreciated. Below you can find some links going to Summit Racing or COMP Cams Websites. First I'll start with a general overview of my truck:
Small block 350
TH400 Tranny35" tires 6in liftAs far as I know (5th owner of truck), everything is stock except for suspension and headers. I did put some flow masters and redo the exhaust after I got it last year.

Parts I'm going to buy for it:
CamConverterIntakeHeadsCarb
need to know anything else just ask. Appreciate help.

If you are going to street use I would not go too far on the camshaft, otherwise, it's going to lope too much and you'll hate that. Since you are dumping the TBI for a carb, I'd go with a Holley 650 CFM carb. Put a good Cloyes timing chain on it. You'll never find a better brand of timing chain. Of course, it'll take some time to jet the carburetor to your altitude and of the engine modifications.
