Default 88 suburban keeps blowing ECM 1 fuse

about a month ago i was driving and truck just stopped running. thought it was fuel pump but still nothing. changed ECM, still nothing. after reading manual i found out the fuses for elec ignition and fuel were named ECM 1 and ECM B. turned out to be the ECM 1 was blown. its a 10 amp fuse but after blowing 3 more fuses i had to use a 30 amp fuse just to get it to start(then put 10 amp fuse in right away and worked fine) now for some reason that same fuse has blown, while driving, 3 more times. every time i have to put a 30 amp fuse in just to start it then a 10 amp fuse will work again. if i put 10 amp fuse in it blows as soon as i turn the key. last time i hit a tiny bump on freeway and it died instantly. what could be causing this to happen? I still have all power, the engine turns over, but doesn't even try to start until i do the fuse thing. can someone please point me in the right direction to solve this issue.

Welcome to the forum.

Sounds like you have a wiring short somewhere where the insulation has been worn thru.
