My buddy has an old suburban that he ragged out to the point where it's not drivable. Now he wants to take the motor and put it in a race car. So my question is, what all would have to be done to that motor to change it over to carburation? It's a 4wd, so can the transfer case be removed and the transmission used in a car as well?
