94 tahoe wont turn over! help please
Hey, im new here. I have a 94 full sized chevy. has 120 miles on it. good truck recently while driving the truck would randomly shut off or stall. i would turn the key while in nuteral and it would start up again. One day it didnt start back up. The key would not come out of the tumbler. i got the key out eventualy. after fighting. so now i checked my fuses, all good. the entire interiour turns on. radio and fans. but when i go to start it it wont click or turn over or anything.... battery is good. i replaced the starter because i have had a problem with it in the past. im getting power to the starter. but it wount turn over... i have been thiunking maby its a netural safty switch? or the tumbler it self? what about a inginition switch. im clueless now... anyone help me out please.

When you say you're getting power to the starter, I assume you mean 12V to the starter motor. Have you checked to see if you are getting 12V to the solenoid when you twist the key to the "Start" position?

If you have 12V to the solenoid and it's wired correctly and it doesn't kick in the starter, then my guess is that you have a bad solenoid or bad ground.

im getting power and ground to the selinoid. its a brand new selinoidand starter. so i doubt that. as for the ground what do you mean? the starter/selinoid isnt ground? because it is. i got shocked to hell when i touched it with the wrench.

Hi
First of all have you checked engine is spining freely with wrench/socket?If you suspect park/neutral safety switch, just disconect cable, make it neutral or park manually, then try with a small jumper wire to jump the pin of starter relay to if see if turn over.
