His my 1995 Chevy Suburban is having shifting issues. When I slow down to a stop it stalls. I feel like it isn't essentially pushing in a clutch. When going up hill or on a road it will lower Rpms where it should shift and it doesn't it goes into low RPms and almost stalls and then jumps up quickly back to normal. It only happens once in a while. It will run fine for a week then it will act up again. Any help is really appreciated. I need the car to run right it is my only one.

Hey Unknown1329- Need more info to help. 1/2 or 3/4 ton ? 2 or 4wd ? Check engine light on ? Better details on the uphill problems and any differences in the week to week driving?

This began a while ago and i replaced spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and the coil pickup on the distributor (check engine light was on, after replacing this it went off) It ran fine a day or two. Now it is doing it constant in the last three days ive been driving it. It will be going fine and all the sudden the rpms drop it acts like starving for gas than surges back up higher rpms than it should then back to normal. I watched it after i took off the air cleaner assembley and lifted up on the ring on top of the throttle body ( Should this piece have a gasket?) and watched the spray of fuel. When the rpms drop the fuel is still spraying like it was at normal no drop in the way it was spraying. it initally was when the car was in gear now it is doing it all the time. Could it be the Air Controll thing? Any other ideas as to what it is is helpful. Thanks, Spencer
