Default 96 Burb Fender Flare Removal?

Took all the screws out, but the flares aren't budging. Is there some kind of adhesive behind them? I'm wanting to remove them in order to paint them.

Looks like I found my answer.

Paint them on the vehicle. It will require a bit of meticulous masking but save you hours of labor accessing the fasteners. I believe the fronts can be removed somewhat easily but the rear flares require removal of the interior trim etc. Leave them on for sure. Rear A/C can make removal even more difficult. Good Luck
