Default 97 Tahoe Cuttin out....

My 97 Tahoe Cuts out through the driving range, and at Running temperature. I Am a wanna be shade tree mechanic. And Not very Good at trouble Shooting. This vehicle has been sitting for some time. I recently pulled it out replaces Fuel pump, Filter and relay for fuel pump. Rebuilt Rear Differential. Replaced every Seal I could Without Total teardown. Ran great on First tank of Gas. Now When acceleratting fairly quickly it Bogs Down a bit and Backfires and Spits back up through the Throttle Body. Is there any Hopes that someone has had this problem....Is there a Fix?

Not sure about TBI but on a carb engine, a backfire thru the carb usually occurs because of a spark timing problem or a timing chain problem. []

If the vehicle was sitting for some time (how long?) and it ran good on the first tank, it sounds to me like there was some gunk in the bottom of the tank that is now got into the mix and possibly clogged up your new filter. I have had this happen to me in the past and eventually had to drop the tank and clean it out.
