Hello everyone, I am a newbie to the chevy forum. I'm a member of the cadi forum and have recieved tons of good advice. I am looking at buying a 97 Tahoe that does not run due to needing a head gasket. Is it a tough job? On my cadi I needed to remove the engine. If the tahoe is the same then I will pass on it. Thanks for any info.

I just replaced a head gasket on my 96 Blazer and its a major pain in the *** because there is very little room to work inside the engine compartment.

Then there are the issues involved in putting it back together. Anybody can take it apart but putting it back together and making it run right is another story.
