Default 97 Tahoe LT 4x4 info

I have a 97 Tahoe Lt auto and I was courious if anyone knew of a place I could find out what the exact specs were for this would be very helpful. I tried a few different sites but was without luck. I tried compnine.com which returned nothing.
1.) I need to know what transmission I have.
2.) what I need to purchase for a front drive shaft.
3.) does this have keyless entry? if so, where do I get a keyfob and how do i program this.
4.) can I put 3rd row seats in this?
I am sure I have more questions but this is probably too many as it is.
Thanks for the help!
Nate

Welcome to the forum.

Your Chevy dealer would be the best place to start for 1 thru 3. Not familiar w/ the 3rd row in a '97 but if it's anything like the GMT 800s and 900s, then it would be a daunting task not to mention the liability exposure to anyone who did it if anything ever happened like seat belt attachment failure. Yikes!

You may be able to find rear facing 3rd row bench seat online but I am not aware of any factory options for the 97 Tahoe....

I looked into the 3rd row back seat and seems like it would be a big job and not worth it. I will just leave it as it is. I was hoping that I would not have to take a trip to the dealer but looks like thats my only option? Thanks for the quick response.
