Default 98 Tahoe oxidized rims

Hello everyone,
I have a1998 Tahoe with the stock rims. They are like a five spoke with painted inserts. They are oxidized and look bad. One has a stain like gas may have been spilled on it while filling up. I wanted to see if anyone has any methods that work to clean them up and make them look like new. Thanks in advance!

I have a 94 with the five spoke, and they are getting in not so good condition anymore. It appears there is a coating on them which looks like it is coming off.

I'm pretty sure that's lacquered aluminum, which is a PITA unfortunately. It starts to crack and peel after while and starts trapping dirt, metal and brake dust (that's the brown staining). They don't look too bad yet. I would just scrub them as best you can . A product like comet, will do a good job of removing the streaks. Eventually you just have to replace them. Or if you like projects you can strip and refinishing them.

Haha ok great! Maybe I’ll try just cleaning them up. I basically just use the truck for little things around town so not overly concerned. Thanks a lot for your help, it’s really appreciated!
