99 Chevy Suburban 4wd Button doesn't work

i don't know if this is the right forum or not.. so i have a 1999 suburban 1500 4x4.. service 4x4 light came on changed the switch. the actuator... fuse's and still won't work.. on the other hand the lights on the 4x4 switch stay on all the time now... any ideas

this is happening with my 98 k2500...did you ever figure it out?!
