Lightbulb 99 Tahoe

My 99 Tahoe's 4x4 isn't working. When I hit the button on the control module ( 4 action switch ) to switch it into 4 wheel drive I hear a clicking noise under my dash next to the steering column. It doesn't go into 4 wheel drive..... .......I'm wondering what to do now ? Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,
Tahoe Matt.

Matt,

This is pretty common and has been discussed on this forum many times. It is either the switch on the dash or the accuator on the transfer case that are bad, but I would suggest searching this forum for more detailed instructions on how to diagnosis/fix. Good luck.
