The A/C in my 99 Tahoe is ice cold coming out of the rear vents, but blows an ambient 98 degrees from the front vents. Also, I just recharged the AC, but the front vents are still blowing warm air in and the rear is so cold that it is almost finger numbing. What could be causing this?

The blend door is either stuck, actuator broke, or disconnected.

 

the blend door in my 97 would stick from time to time, try switching the to the defrost and back to floor then dash and see if it switches... I sometimes would give the blower box right by the accelerator pedal a lite kick and door would un-stick....
