I just got in my Tahoe, cranked and noticed the light indicating whether I was in park/rev/drive/ect wouldn't come on. I shift to drive and it inches forward with no power. On the road I notice the speedometer and tach don't work but other gauges do. Once on the road I also notice the transmission isn't shifting and it is stuck in 3rd I think. Probably why it had no power from stop. What's up with all this? I had only just driven home from work maybe 2hrs before. I will add that a lightning storm had just passed through immediately before this. Not sure if lightning strikes can effect a vehicle or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
