anyone know how to remove the front left axle from the front housing??

 

If I remember correctly it just pops out. You put a pry bar between the housing and the axle and pop it.

 

thanks for the info. was not sure if I had to remove and split the housing in two.If it just pops out it will make the job easy! thanks again! AARON

 

I wouldn't go beat on that shaft to hard tough, i remember on my 90 gmc when i broke the passenger side shaft in half it would come out a bit but only so far since half shaft would stop it, i bet you have to drop front dif and split it to get shaft out.
