has the truck been wreck? or too your knowledge has anyone removed the drivers door? This would rule out broken wires in door jamb.
and or course check fuses, but sounds likeI would be looking moretowards the switch on the drivers side

Not to my knowledge. I took the switch out to look for faulty wiring but didn't notice anything out of place. The locks still make a popping sound like they're getting power but they just don't move. They also work sometimes when its cold outside, however, I live in Texas and its rarely cold. What are the mechanical parts to power locks? Isn't there an actuator of some sorts? The window just went recently. I was told that it may be the switch or the motor. Is there anything else it could be?

if you can hear the motors popping i would say that the actuator has seen its better days. funny that both would crash at the same time. You can check at the actuator to see if your getting a full 12v. if they are they check to make sure the linkage is not binding.
